Ogden, Utah — PDCflow is pleased to announce completion of an annual audit for renewal of Level 1 Payment Card Industry Data Security Standards Compliance. This compliance renewal indicates that PDCflow complies with the most stringent rules put forth by the payment card industry in order to securely accept and process payments. The renewal took effect May 1, 2017, and will remain current until April 30, 2018.
This ongoing Level 1 PCI DSS compliance has also earned PDCflow a spot on the Visa Global Registry of Service Providers, know as The Registry. PDCflow’s spot on The Registry demonstrates the company’s dedication to creating a safe, compliant payment solution to merchants and their customers.
“PDCflow’s commitment to the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI-DSS) demonstrates our team’s resolve to provide world-class financial information protection to our clients and their customers,” said Randy Lee, Chief Security Officer of PDCflow. “This annual assessment assures our ability to identify and control risk throughout our organization, enabling PDCflow to provide the safest and most reliable credit card payment system. We are proud of the continuous dedication of our management and staff to safeguard this critical and sensitive process.”
PCI compliance is an important part for any trustworthy payment processing business. Offering PCI Level 1 compliance provides PDCflow customers with the highest level of protection available. This allows many smaller merchants to offer their consumers a level of security during the payment process they may not be able to achieve on their own.
“In order to maintain the highest security standards for our clients and their consumers, PDCflow must undergo a strenuous, on-site PCI audit every year,” said Matthew Snedden, COO of PDCflow. “It is a credit to our Security Officer, our Development Team and our Infrastructure Team that they continue to pass these examinations with flying colors.”
The aim behind enforcing PCI compliance is to create a secure network for payments to be processed, and enforce the safe storage of sensitive consumer data. This means companies such as PDCflow, are expected to undergo vulnerability scans, restrict access to systems and operations, and enforce a strict security policy for employees to follow.
