Listening to customers is an essential part of software development. At PDCflow, we’re lucky to have a listening expert on our team in Product Manager Kristen Makanoa.

  1. How has PDCflow helped you in your career development?

I started my career as a designer and I have always loved creating impactful products that help people. I've spent many years learning from customers and team members. And looking back, I can attest to the fact that listening really has been the key to discovering successful solutions.

Working at PDCflow has offered more listening opportunities than ever before; I've been able to work alongside teammates in every department here at PDCflow and with stakeholders from businesses within every industry we serve.

Listening to these multiple points-of-view has helped me understand how we ought to guide our product's future in a way that's helpful to our stakeholders and to our team. This opportunity to apply observations, instinct, and creativity is an incredible development opportunity for me personally and it has been so rewarding.
